AAR INSURANCE MEDEX

Medical examination abbreviated as MEDEX is mandatory for all AAR Insurance Medical insurance applicants who are aged 45 years and above. This is applicable to members who are under the Individual and Family medical covers.

This is a comprehensive medical analysis performed on an individual to determine their state of health. The examination includes physical examination, medical history, routine laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures.

We believe that people are their best when they are in control. AAR Insurance aims at placing its members in control of their health and wellbeing. The medical evaluation will give you the opportunity to know your current health status. This will help in determining the best fit medical cover option for you and your family.

• AAR Insurance requires any applicant who has attained the age of 45 years and above to take a medical examination before confirmation of cover.
• AAR Insurance at its own discretion may recommend medical evaluation to any individual at any age before confirmation of cover.
• AAR Insurance requires any individual enhancing their medical insurance cover to undertake a medical examination regardless of age.

• At inception of cover for individuals aged 45 years and above.
• At enhancement of medical cover to a higher benefit cover.
• Periodically for members with chronic medical conditions. Annually for members who have attained the age of 65 years and above

• Identify a preferred medical centre
• Get in touch with the medical centre to book an appointment and get requirements.
• Download the ‘Medical Examination Invitation Letter’ from this link .
• Print the letter and present to the health centre on the day of the MEDEX.
• Once the MEDEX is done, the health facility will share the report with AAR Insurance.
• AAR Insurance will provide feedback upon receipt of the report.
